The rain did its best to disrupt play in today's National T20 fixture between Barnt Green and C&R Hawks.

In the event a bowl-out was needed, and it was down to Ben Dunn and Faisal Shahid to see the Green through to the 2nd Round, winning the bowl-out 2-1.

Saturday's opening Premier League fixture saw Barnt Green travel to Knowle and Dorridge. In another rain affected match, the hosts were put into bat and made 260-4 from their 47 overs, Alex Phillips scoring 95. Andy Sutton picked up 3 wickets.

With Barnt Green being set a revised target of 210, regular wickets from K&D ensured the Green could only muster 163-8 from 30 overs, the hosts winning by 47 runs (D/L).

The 2nds entertained Wellington at Cherry Hill Road on Saturday. Batting first, the hosts made 181-8 with Gus Mackay returning to make 32, before Hayden Froggatt on debut made 30. Jacob Aquilina then made 47 not out.

Rain thwarted thwarted any further play. Barnt Green 2nds 7 points, Wellington 2nds 9 points.
