As in 2016, we are pleased to have Complete Cricket and TSR providing professional cricket coaching working alongside our own qualified coaches on Friday nights.

From a junior perspective, the obvious highlight last year was our Under 15s winning the ECB National Championship but it always gives great pleasure in seeing the youngest age groups play their first competitive games. This season will also see us play in Under 8 festivals as well as Under 9s. These festivals always prove to be good fun, and also give parents an opportunity to muck in. If anyone fancies assisting in these festivals please let me know during the season.

All our other age groups from Under 10s upwards have busy seasons to look forward to. All availability and selection will again be run via our website so please ensure you are registered properly on http://www.barntgreencc.com

Membership for the forthcoming season has been held at last year’s rates, and payments can be made at http://www.barntgreencc.com/payments

Much work has gone on over the winter – the nets have seen their refurbishment, painting of benches is underway and as always both squares have had much TLC. A working party has also been arranged for this Saturday, 8th April from 9am – if you’re free, please come along and assist in a variety of jobs including cleaning advertising boards, patching the netting of the cages and cleaning the pavilion windows.

If there are any parents who would like to assist in any capacity this season, whether it be scoring, umpiring or assisting our other coaches, or fundraising activities please let one of our committee know!
