Having defeated Bromsgrove in the final over of the previous week's semi-final, the side travelled to Feckenham to face Worcester Cricket Club, expecting another close encounter with another of their regular rivals.

Winning the toss and putting Worcester into bat, seam bowlers Ben Whitton and Jack Warner had a day to remember, tearing through the Worcester side and skittling the batting side out for 21.

Both boys claimed 5 wickets apiece, with Ben finishing with 5 for 4, and Jack 5 for 7, including a hat-trick.

In reply both our openers chipped off the winning runs within 7 overs to claim a remarkable 10 wicket victory and taking them into the regional rounds of the ECB National competition against the Warwickshire winners.
